Completing his Master’s with honours at LFS, he produced a number of Shorts ranging from all genres. His Graduate Short Film, ‘Out of the Shadows’, which was presented at the London Red Carpet Premiere in 2015, helped him enter the film business.

Weckstein's motto is 'nothing is impossible', and Pearl Pictures Productions present his distinctive style and expertise, always looking to challenge the audience expectations. It is Weckstein’s nature to make it happen and his wellspring of talent will stop at nothing in dazzling audiences.  His recent 2016 audio visual tribute production in 'Bosch by Addy,' for the Royal Fashion Designer Addy van den Krommenacker, is in honour of the 14th century artist, Jheronimus Bosch. Pearl Pictures was the first to film in the monumental 15th century St. James Cathedral in Hertogenbosch location by drone for this project. Weckstein currently is producing three independent feature films.
